Cryopen Therapy

Safe and new solution for removal of skin imperfections.

scroll

CryoPenTM is an advanced cryotherapy innovation that is a fast, effective, safe and new solution for removal of skin imperfections. Procedures typically last from 5 to 30 seconds, so you can be in and out of the salon quickly. The CryoPenTM emits a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure, which allows the clinician to work with millimetre precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue. It’s so incredibly accurate and practical. Cosmetic procedures such as skin tags, milia and cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS. With the CryoPenTM you can now have these treatments in the beauty salon.

How it Works

The applicator is held as close as possible to the skin imperfection and moved quickly towards and away from it.

This could be from 1-30 seconds, depending on the size and depth.

• Removes unsightly skin tags, warts and age spots for that perfect finish

• Minimally invasive

  • How do cosmetic anti-wrinkle injections work?
Administered by a series of tiny superficial injections, anti-wrinkle injections travel to the underlying muscle, blocking the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine (chemical messenger) responsible for muscular contraction. This relieves the expression lines at the skin surface, creating a smooth and refreshed appearance. After a period of time, new axons are formed, which gradually enable transmission of the chemical messenger to the muscle, thereby slowly reactivating muscular contraction.
  • How long do cosmetic anti-ageing injections last?
Once injected, you may begin to notice results within 2-3 days, however it will take up to 2 weeks to observe best results. The expected duration of results of anti-wrinkle injections can vary from individual. For most patients, anti-wrinkle injections are best scheduled between 3-4 monthly intervals to maintain results. By maintaining results, we can help to slow the progression of wrinkles and continue to improve those stubborn creases.
  • Do anti-wrinkle injectable treatments have any side effects?
Minor side effects post anti-wrinkle injection treatments include temporary localised inflammation, including redness, swelling, heat and small lumps at the treatment site. These symptoms are very normal and will usually subside within a couple of days. There is also the potential for minor bruising at the treatment site.
  • Will my face look frozen after the treatment?
We aim to treat our patients conservatively with anti-wrinkle injections, hence we endeavor to provide a refreshed and natural result. Consultations are essential to determine our patient’s requirements, discuss expectations and results as well as to educate pre and post anti-wrinkle treatment care.
